Running a syndicate is unpaid admin — until it goes wrong
Most syndicates run on a spreadsheet, a group chat and one person’s memory. That works right up to the week it doesn’t.
“Has Dave paid?”
Contributions arrive by bank transfer, in cash, late, in advance, and sometimes not at all. Keeping fourteen running balances in a spreadsheet is a job, and it is a job that falls on one person every single week.
“What did we win?”
A small win has to be divided, credited and explained to everybody. Do it in your head at the pub and someone will remember the number differently a fortnight later.
“How do we know?”
Members are trusting one person with their money and their word about a ticket they have never seen. Most of the time that trust is well placed. The problem is that it is never demonstrated.
What the app does
The whole of the admin, in one place
It is built around one idea: the record is the truth, and everyone should be able to see it.
Members and balances
Every member has two balances — what they have put in, and what they have won. Both add up to a total, and every movement is recorded with a reason and the name of whoever made it.
Draws that create themselves
Tell the app which days your syndicate plays. On each of those days the draw is created, the members on it are snapshotted, and the ticket cost is split evenly and taken off their balances.
Winnings split automatically
Enter what the ticket won. The app divides it evenly across the members who were on that draw and credits it, to whichever balance your syndicate uses. No arithmetic, no rounding arguments.
Everyone told, every time
Members are emailed when they go into a draw, with the ticket photo attached and their share of the cost, and again when the result is in, with their own balances. They never have to ask.
Bank statement, one sitting
Payments go in on a single repeating form — a session of statement entry is one screen and one save, not twenty separate edits.
Bonus tickets handled
Won a bonus ticket? Photograph it, and the app creates the bonus draw on your next draw day by itself. Bonus draws never charge anyone: those tickets were won, not bought.
A trail that cannot be quietly edited
The ledger is append-only. Corrections are new entries, not overwrites, so the history of the money is always there to be read back — including by you, months later.
Members never have to log in
There are no accounts for members to forget the password to. Everything they need arrives in an email. Only the person running the syndicate signs in.

The syndicate at a glance
Who is active, what is in the pot, what the next draw costs and what the last one did. The dashboard also warns you about the things that would quietly stop a draw being created — no draw days set, no active members, no ticket image.
You stop wondering whether something has been missed, because the app tells you when it has.
Every movement, with a reason attached
Each member has a statement: every share taken, every payment received, every win credited, in order, with a running total. Nothing is edited away — a correction is a new line, so the history stays readable.
If a member asks where their money went, the answer is a page, not an argument.
The result, in everyone’s inbox
When you enter a result, every member with an email address gets it: what the ticket won, how it was divided, what their share was and where their balances now stand.
The email shows the member their own figures and how the total was split — so the fairness is demonstrable without handing everybody a list of who else is in the syndicate.

Three steps, then it runs itself
Set up the syndicate
Name it, tick the draw days it plays, set the ticket cost, and upload a photo of the standing ticket. Two minutes, once.
Add your members
Name, email, and their opening balance if they are carrying one over. Opening balances are recorded as entries, so the audit trail starts from a known figure.
Get on with your life
Draw days look after themselves. You enter the result and record payments as they land. Everything else — the splitting, the balances, the emails — happens without you.
Transparency
The record protects the organiser too
Syndicate disputes reach court more often than most people playing in one would guess — and when they do, what decides them is documentation: who was in, who had paid, and what was agreed.
The organiser is usually the one holding the ticket, which means they are usually the one who has to prove they behaved properly. An honest organiser with no records is in a far worse position than an honest organiser with a complete, timestamped trail that every member has been reading by email all along.
That trail is the point of this app. It is not there because we assume the person running your syndicate is dishonest. It is there because it is the thing that shows they weren’t.
Who was actually in?
Members join and leave. A draw records the members who were on it at the time, so the question is answered by the record rather than by recollection.
Was the split fair?
Every win is divided evenly by the app across the members on that draw, and the division is stated in the email each of them receives.
Was anything changed later?
The ledger only ever grows. Entries are added, never rewritten, so the sequence of events stays intact.
What this software is, and what it isn’t.
The only money this website processes is your own subscription. The software does not buy tickets, hold syndicate funds, take contributions from members or pay winnings out. Buying the tickets and handling the money remain entirely the responsibility of whoever runs the syndicate. Lotto Syndicate Manager records what they tell it happened, and shows that record to everyone.
